That podcast was so good I listened to it twice!!!
One of my favorite tips for gardeners is something you mentioned in your podcast; and that’s growing plants that have more than one purpose. For example, peas look beautiful growing up a trellis and are edible. Nasturtiums have gorgeous flowers to look at and are also edible.
My next favorite tip is to share your garden with others. Seeds, cuttings and plant starts can sometimes be the greatest gift to give.
I look forward to your next podcast!
Who can argue with that suggestion? “Share your garden with others.” One of my favorite tips is to befriend a local garden expert, someone who has experience with your same growing conditions. You are officially entered into our Greenbo Railing Planter giveaway!
Small water features can add interest to a small space. A small bubbler or fountain add sound and movement. If you want something simpler, create a basin pond with plants and fish.
I have a couple of favorite hand tools I consider a must for gardeners. The “circle hoe” which allows you to weed and cultivate the area around the base of a plant without damaging the root or plant. And the “Weeding Finger” a tool that is very difficult to find.
